The Thursday and Sunday night head-liners have been announced for the inaugural Portsmouth & Southsea Festival, which takes place on Castle Field in Southsea from Thursday 9th through Sunday 12th October.
Each night of the festival has is themed, with Thursday being Indie Night and Sunday having more of a pop/nostalgia feel.
Mancunian baggy legends The Charlatans and reformed rockers Shed Seven have the honours on the Main Stage (in the Big Blue Tent) on the Thursday, with local club night Chaos taking charge on alternative stage in the Little White Tent.
80's pop legends Nik Kershaw, Howard Jones, Go West and the one and only (!) Chesney Hawkes join head-liner (and garden designer) Kim Wilde on the Main Stage on Sunday night. ABBA tribute band Björn Again and The Manfreds make up the bill, with Funk-If-Ino getting things hot and sweaty in the Little White Tent.
Details on ticket availability and pricing will be appearing on the Festival website and Facebook page in due course.
