What kind of excuse is that to get out of a drink-driving charge? Honestly. I can safely say that she's had no enhancing effect on my life, however mundane that might be, whatsoever. Although, if she keeps making Lena Lamont style comments such as that, her comedy value can only increase.
Not as much as when she does get banged up in stir though obviously.

Lou Rhodes' gig at The Wedgewood Rooms, scheduled for Thursday 10th May, has been cancelled; punters are advised to contact their point of purchase for ticket refunds. Likewise those of you who splurged on tickets for Son Of Dork's gig at The Pyramids on Friday 25th May are prompted to do the same as that's been cancelled too (I know Jim will be especially gutted to hear that).
Portsmouth's legendary indie club night Chaos will again be holding one of its irregular live events on Saturday 19th May. The line-up this time round features Big Squirrel, Golden Section and Suburbian. Tickets are available from The Wedgewood Rooms, the doors open at 2100 for the live stuff and, after that, there's a DJ through til 0300.
